Job Duties:
- Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program
- Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them
- Draft and revise company policies & procedures if required
- Proactively audit processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses in the policies and implementation
- Evaluate business activities of the company to assess compliance risk
- Collaborate with external auditors, HR team, Finance team and other team when it is needed
- Responsible in the process of evaluation in case of a crisis or compliance violation, and provide reports and suggestions for steps to be taken
- Liaise with HR department, educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices
- Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance
- Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliances refer to the statutory law and corporate guideline
- Recommend to the BoD to stop the work in case any inconsistency or compliance breaches found during audit / investigation process
- Following and staying up-to date with new updates to regulations applicable to the Company (E.g. KOMINFO, BKPM, Ministry of Public Works and Housing, Local Regulations),
